There was a time when I went crazy for tear drops, rain drops, dragon scales.
They proliferated and took over my studio.
These were early hints to the movement and rhythm essential to my practice, taking up more space than a single piece could contain.
Now, they are a tumbling moody rhythmic addition to my Venice Sale. As with the paintings I posted last week (some still available so reach out if you wanted one!), these are temporarily priced at a small fraction of the retail. Only til I go to Venice!
Do you need some dragon drops?
These would make a lovely pair or triptych, if you have the room.
Pink Raindrops. 42x55”. Acrylic and ink on Fabriano watercolor paper. $2500 during Venice sale.
Blue Prelude. 42x55”. Acrylic, ink and enamel on Fabriano watercolor paper. $2500 during Venice sale.
Fallin’ on my Head. Acrylic and ink on Fabriano watercolor paper. $2500 during Venice sale.
Most curiously, there’s a huge one that almost could be wallpaper, but it’s watercolor paper. What was my plan? No plan, clearly. Just instinct.
Blue Mural. 140x53”. Acrylic and ink on Arches watercolor paper. Make me an offer if you have room for it!
Thanks friends, for all your sweet responses of encouragement. I have felt a little less springy this week. Cold #475 and maybe a little recoilment from admitting how happy I am with painting these days.
This.
But on we go! Riding the waves.
Reply to this email if you fancy a new painting from my sale! (Hint: if there is a different painting you love, now is a good time to convince me of a discount. Only for you, my readers!)
