Sometimes I think about a friend I made in Paris, or preschool, or at an art residency–and I can’t find them. Not on social or in my contacts. I wonder where they are now, what they do with their time and who’s important to them. What are they reading, struggling with, newly discovering about themselves?
Then I’m busy with newsletter admin, and come across their address–Oh! They’ve been here all along! Maybe even following along, and not just deleting these but staying subscribed to be nice. (You have my permission not to do that, BTW–I don’t put myself through the misery of checking who unsubscribes.)
Just last week I reached out to one such person. To hear back about their life since we last saw each other, to see their children and know their names–it was such a gift!
In the interest of being showered in gifts, I’m asking:
ARE YOU OUT THERE?
Even if we’ve never met.
Reply with an image, a few lines. Prosaic, poetic, abstract, hyper realistic. Whatever suits your mood. Don’t work hard. I will love it.
And for you, images of a few more paintings I would love to sell, to offset the making of very large artwork that needs more time.
Reply to see the full inventory or inquire about any of these.

Thanks for sharing a little bit of you with me.
